Independence Day

Oh, we had such a fun weekend! On Friday afternoon, we visited Justin, Karen, and Annie. What a beautiful little peanut Annie is. Afterwards, we picked up Moira and were off to Wellesley College to see Nick and Anya get married! It was a beautiful ceremony lakeside with an intimate gathering of family and friends. We rounded out the day by watching the Boston fireworks from my office on the 19th floor. Lillie woke up just in time to see the pretty show.

On Saturday, Aunt Moira babysat for Lillie while Conor and I went to see Wall-e. What a cute movie. But it didn't stop there, because we were also able to go out to my most favorite Boston restaurant (now with the worst name ever), Moo. It wasn't quite the same experience as the Federalist, but it was still wicked good! Sunday was a day of rest and relaxation, while all three of us recovered from such a busy couple of days.

We're finally able to see that little tooth of Lillie's. She's not quite moving forward yet, but she's getting closer and closer. In the meantime, she has mastered clapping, and boy does she love it! Perhaps we do have a budding cheerleader after all? Coming up is our very last weekend in Boston. There's so much we want to do, but it will be impossible to fit it all in just 48 hours.

  1. Congratulations on your first tooth, Lillie! what fun that will be when you get to eat more than mushed up carrots and peas!
conor and CArey, it sounds like you all had a lovely weekend, but I'm sure Boston will miss you. Have fun with your last weekend there, and make some fabulous memories to add to the wonderful ones you have already.
